More than 110 supporters of the Lake Bluff Women’s Club gathered at Gorton Community Center on May 8 for a luncheon and program to raise money for Lake Forest High School scholarships. Catered by Froggy’s, the luncheon was dutifully served by 18 LFHS students who volunteered their time to assist.
Guests enjoyed a tremendous program by dramatic book reviewer Jenny Riddle, who acted out a performance entitled “We Will Survive.” The event was chaired by a committee made up of Regina Dee, Melissa Giordano, Carol Grossman, Megan Jordan, Nini Lustig, Kari Skinner, Margaret Walker, and Mary Yoo. More than $7,000 was raised for scholarships for LFHS students.
